Snow Days

You got to love ‘snow days’ off from school especially as a school teacher and on a Friday to boot. I am finally catching up with Dawna Lisa’s blog and adding some well needed pictures.
On December 3rd, I purchased my plane tickets to go to see DL at two of her CDE’s. Larry and I had a long talk about where to fly into. He suggested Tampa and to only get direct tickets. I guess he has been stuck in Atlanta a couple of times and even had to take a bus.
Since I had such a great experience last year (NOT!), flying to the Welsh Annual General Meeting (AGM) in KY, I totally agreed that a direct flight was the only way to go (or fly). Yes, I paid a little more but well worth the investment.
I will be flying out of Boston on Song (hope I will be singing) at 3pm on Thursday January 12th arriving in Tampa at 6:14pm. I need to reserve a rental car and find a place near or at Black Prong to stay that evening and the next few days. I will be returning early on Monday, January 16th to Boston.
My next trip to Florida will be on Wednesday, February 15th on jetBlue to Orlando leaving later in the day. This is not a problem since I am hoping to attend at least part of the 2006 Welsh AGM in Orlando. Once again, I am returning on a Monday.
I must admit I am getting a tiny bit excited. I have not called Larry about DL’s progress. I will wait to hear the verdict on December 18th. I also hope to get a better handle on when my shaggy girl leave for Florida.
